Problem

Nearing graduation, I recognized gaps in my education, particularly in sourcing parts, working with vendors, and sheet metal manufacturing. I saw this final project as a chance to bridge those gaps. I created a set of bottle rocket launch pads because of my love for all-ages entertainment and as a tribute to those who inspired my creativity and love for making.

Process

After securing funding and drawing up a project budget, I sketched, prototyped, and tested. I made design decisions within strict constraints, keeping a focus on a playful user experience. Each step presented new challenges and opportunities for learning and growth.

Solution

The most important result of this project was the experience and competence I gained in previously unfamiliar areas. I plan to donate her launch pads to fun-loving families, who I hope will use them to create many memories.
